Instead

The Lord lovingly pleads with us to remain within the protective place He has built around us. We will remain totally safe as long as we stay in the ark, under the umbrella of His protection. God and His children are mutually covenanted to each other. God is FOR us. He has promised to protect us as we remain enveloped in Him. Jesus is the Door to the fold, the safe place of protection. The only way the sheep can get into the fold is through Him; and the only way they can get out of that place is to be led by Him.  His boundaries are good. They know his voice. TheyScreenshot 2016-03-05 09.25.27.png trust Him.

God has already provided, in the cross, freedom, forgiveness and deliverance from your past.
He is not present in your past. Your past is dead.
He is present in your future.

For every curse and sin of the past, He has an INSTEAD.
He does not see you as bound by your sins of the past. He sees your glorious future in Him. He has left the past IN THE PAST, and He wants you to do the same. Every time that He allows you to see a part of your past that is problematic, it is only because that is the area He wants to work on next, so that you will be able to live in a blessing rather than a curse in that area. He will transform that dead thing into the opposite blessing as you surrender it to Him and allow Him access. He doesn’t allow it to condemn you but to lift you higher. He has an upgrade for you. You need to receive it by faith.

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17.

God does not deal with condemnation and guilt in you. He deals with the finished product: righteousness. HIS righteousness. He loves you so much that He provided the Way for you to be IN CHRIST, so that when He looks at you, He sees Christ in you INSTEAD of your imperfections and shortcomings.

He is still causing His goodness to pass before us, just as He did for Moses when he asked for that. His goodness is His glory.
The goodness of God is so powerful it can incinerate any problem. The lack of manifest goodness in our lives is the biggest problem. We become so busy railing against sin that we are not focusing on the goodness, the promise being held for us. The goodness of God is always passing before us, twenty-four/seven. God’s favor is hanging over us, ready and waiting to be grasped.

You won’t have a problem unless there is a provision and promise attached to it. Problems are allowed to generate faith and take you to another level in God. We are to stand in the promise, not the problem, looking for the provision, always on the lookout to see what God will do INSTEAD. Problems become doors of opportunity. When the enemy has a purpose, God has another purpose INSTEAD. Find it. Seek it, don’t accept the negative, insert the positive. When you confront a negative issue with a negative reaction, condemnation is produced. When we seek the Truth of God we find that God is doing something else INSTEAD. God says, “Seek Me with your whole heart. Look for Me. I am probably standing next to your problem with a smile of love. I am never far away.”
When the enemy is doing his worst, God is always doing His best.

The favor of God is on you, waiting for you to receive it. This is His plan and purpose for you.

Have you not yet seen how beautiful you are? There is nothing that compares or competes with the transcendent glory that our Father has reflected through your spirit. The glory and splendor placed upon you is unique. There is no other human soul the same. Your beauty and infinite value fill a niche that only you can fill. If your glory is removed from His sight, all of heaven suffers loss! If only you could see — you would never then turn aside from the One Who draws you. Like a magnet draws every tiny shred of metal inexorably to itself until none remains separated, so the tender force of God’s love draws you to His heart. It is impossible to resist.

Someone’s prayer on your behalf empowers it.  Do not fight it, but flow in the direction where you were designed to flow.

You are IN this world but not OF it. Do not live FOR the world but FOR eternity. ENJOY the wondrous things that the Lord provides, but only with gratitude and a sense of their fleetingness. For the moments of this life are but a series of brief NOW experiences. As you enjoy them remember that they are passing by like the wind. You can’t retain them, hoard them, or order your life by them. Like a vapor they disappear into past memory the moment they arrive. Only what is lived IN THE SPIRIT in the context of ETERNITY will last. Time is short. Eternity is forever. That which is dedicated to the Lord will never fade away but go on with you in your life journey. Live for Him! Give ALL TO him!  Don’t keep anything back for your own selfish pursuits. It will only turn to vapor and disappear, so why not give it up?

“Lord, we say with awe, How  fleeting time is! The things that look so all-important in our youth seem to fade away as we look at them in the light of Your Goodness. We look at and place before You all of the aspects of our choices, activities, affections and thoughts. We long to arrive at  the end of our allotted time FULL of the things that have eternal value, and empty of those things which are self-centered and worthless. We hide ourselves in the protection of Your sheepfold and we listen for Your voice, awaiting those awesome upgrades which You bring to our spirits as we obey You. We surrender all to You, Lord, as we pray together in Jesus’ name. Amen.
